Busy times

It has been a while since we have been able to update the blog.  Times have been busy getting ready for our new arrival. 

The boxed pram is what Debbie made for the arrival of Alice Elizabeth, the nappy cake was also made to mark the birth of the new arrival, now our granddaughter.  The parchment carousel is the very first attempt of this pattern. Now that the pattern has been completed I can now have a proper attempt of the pattern before venturing onto a pattern for a Ferris wheel.

Friday 13thn April 2012 has now become a glorious day.  Our daughter and son-in-law were graced with a baby girl.  Alice Elizabeth Barnett was born at Burnley General weighing a very health 6lbs 15oz.

Mother and baby are both well and simply glowing.  As you can imagine we are all very proud, another grandchild for us to spoil rotten ( its a grandparent's prerogative lol).
